Dear Church Family,
When churches do things together they represent an inkling of what the kingdom is supposed to be. On Sunday we will worship with Bowen Community Church on their site at 10:00 am for our traditional “Church in the Wildwood”. We’re hoping to be outside (so bring a sweater) but we may end up indoors. If you’d like to carpool or caravan together you can meet at 1st Presbyterian at 9:30 am. Otherwise, the address is 1954 E County Rd 10 S, Monte Vista, CO 81144 and we’ll see you there.
Our Scriptures will be Genesis 16:1-16 and Genesis 21:8-21 where Pastor Robert and I will do a tag team sermon discussing the significance of Hagar and Ishmael in the wilderness.
We are asking that you bring a side dish to share for our meal afterwards.
Hope to see you there,
Allen
