Dear Church Family,
As we walk our way through the Gospel of Mark, we are discovering that human nature was the same then as it is today. Some who observed Jesus were amazed and delighted at the authority he exhibited. While others were disturbed, suspicious and threatened. What makes the difference? What will you choose to believe?
Fortunately, we are not asked to just blindly believe. The evidence is there for us to examine. This Sunday we’ll look at Mark 3 and I’ve chosen to study Jesus’ questions, Jesus’ statements and the things said about Jesus.
If you were in worship on Sunday you heard me say that nothing else matters until we decide in our minds who Jesus is. If he is a liar and an imposter then we can throw the Bible away as a collection of false information. But if he is who he claims to be then all of Scripture needs to be reckoned with.
God Bless,
Allen
