Dear Church Family,

So much is happening this coming week.  Holy Week is the highlight of the church calendar because we celebrate the culmination of Jesus’ ministry and the accomplishment of our salvation through His death and resurrection.
We conclude today with our last Lenten lunch at the Assembly of God church today at noon.  Next, we’ll celebrate Palm Sunday at 11:00 on Sunday morning.  I will be preaching from John 12:1-19.  We’ll be looking at this event from the perspective all the people involved.
On Thursday, we’ll have a service at the church at 6:30 pm.  It will be a hands-on service that all ages can enjoy and get a lot of meaning from.  We’ll conclude the service with communion.
On Friday, you are welcome to join an ecumenical service at Pioneer United Church in Del Norte at 4:00.  We will have several mini messages commemorating Jesus’ trial and crucifixion.
And of course on Sunday, we’ll celebrate Resurrection Sunday.  We will have Easter breakfast at the church from 9-11 with the service at 11:00.  Be prepared to respond when I say, “Christ is risen.”  You say, “Christ is risen indeed”.  Immediately following the service, we’ll have an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids.
In Christ’s Service,
Allen
